[slicer-users] Slicer4 SuperBuild: problem with SlicerVTK.git

Hi Sebastian -

It's weird that this git checkout fails - are you able to run this
command in a console?

  git clone git://github.com/pieper/SlicerVTK.git

The project site for SlicerVTK is here:

  http://github.com/pieper/SlicerVTK

Basically it holds some patches relative to the vtk 5.6 branch (for
widgets, volume rendering...) that ultimately belong in vtk proper but
aren't ready yet for one reason or another. Note that the repository
location and contents are subject to change as we get our git workflows
sorted out...

Thanks for trying out the superbuild,
-Steve
