[slicer-users] 3 dimensional mask/ROI => nifti?

Hi Andreas -

In case it helps, the Editor module gives you free-form shapes using
the various paint and draw tools to create a label map.  then you can
use the MaskImage module to create a volume that is zero everywhere
outside the labelmap but has the original image data inside the label.
 A trapezoid might be a little tricky, since the Editor is made for
organic shapes.
